Three people have died from coronavirus in the past three days in the Western Region.

The figure is from an interpretation made by Connect FM from two separate Covid-19 updates from the regional directorate of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) released three days apart.

The latest death was recorded in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis.

The death column on the last Covid-19 update dated Saturday, August 7 reported 41 cases.

However, according to the latest update dated Tuesday, August 10, the death column reports 44 cases, indicating three new deaths.

Mild positive cases have reduced 89 cases from 225 to 136.

Active positive cases also reduced 89 cases from 231 to 142.

But moderate positive cases increased one case from five to six.

According to the update, there is no severe and critical positive case in the region.

This is perhaps an improvement from the Saturday, August 7 update which had one severe positive case.

Good news?
