Nine more die as Ghana’s Covid-19 cases hit 41k

Despite a further reduction in Ghana’s Covid-19 active cases, nine persons have lost the battle to the disease.

The number of deaths, therefore, has risen from 206 to 215.

This was contained in the latest update released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Sunday, August 9.

There were 470 new cases recorded, taking the country’s total cumulative cases to 41,003.

The recoveries-cum-discharges are currently 38,330.

This has seen the active cases reduce from 2,625 to 2,458.
