Ghana’s Covid-19 death toll hits 24 with 5,408 cases

Ghana has now recorded 5,408 Covid-19 cases after 281 more cases were confirmed nationwide, the Ghana Health Service has announced.

The pandemic has also claimed 24 lives in the latest update published on the Service’s website on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

A total of 514 have recovered. So far 61 percent of the confirmed cases are male while the female account for 39 percent.

The Greater Accra Region accounts for 4,147 of the total case count.

Savannah, Ahafo and Bono regions have not recorded and confirmed case yet.
