The Guinean who was part of eight compatriots in isolation in Tamale for testing positive for coronavirus has been found, 3news.com can confirm.
The lady, 28, was found in Accra.
Zainab Bangula was among a total of 10 West African nationals including two Burkinabes who were spotted in the Northern Region capital but later housed after testing positive for the deadly disease.
She was said to have scaled the wall of the hotel where they lodged and left her belongings.
A manhunt was immediately issued for her arrest.
“Anyone who is found to have the lady in his or her possession and has not reported to the security agencies will be dealt with by the law,” a statement issued by the Northern Regional Security Council on the manhunt said.
“In the same vein anyone who attempts to obstruct the security in their search for the lady will not be spared by the law.”
A decision will be taken on what next to be done but earlier efforts to repatriate the foreigners to their home countries hit a snag as they were rejected by their respective countries.
