GMB queen receives car, cash prize

The winner of the 2020 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant, Naa Dedei Botchwey, has expressed her utmost gratitude to Media General for the opportunity and gift that has been given to her.

Naa showed appreciation to Media General during the presentation of awards to the six finalist at the forecourt of TV3 on Friday, November 13.

The finalists were Greater Accra’s Naa, Ahafo’s Abena, Volta’s Kafui, Northern’s Zuzu, Upper East’s Talata and Central’s Afriyie in that particular order.

The eventual winner Naa received a sleek 4-wheel drive vehicle and a cash of GH¢10,000.

Abena as the first runner-up was given GH¢8,000, the second runner-up Kafui received a cash prize of GH¢6,000, Zuzu, the third runner-up received GH¢ 4,000 and Talata and Afriyie who were the fourth and fifth runners-up received respectively received GH¢ 2,000 each.

“Let me take this opportunity to say thank you to the management of Media General for the opportunity that they’ve given me beyond the car, cash and all the beautiful things that comes with Ghana’s Most Beautiful,” Naa said at the presentation.

She disclosed that the car given to her will make transportation easier and will enable her to perform other duties with ease.

“The car makes movement easier and if I have to do any transfers and meetings. It’s easier to have access because I’ll just have to move my car and get there. The car is also branded GMB which speaks volumes.”

She revealed that she has had a lot more than just the prizes, forming her main aim in participating in the pageant

“I wish to state that I have had a lot more than just the prize which was my target for participating in Ghana’s Most Beautiful.”

She announced that her project will officially begin on Tuesday, November 16, at Accra Girls Senior High School.

“Officially my project starts on next Tuesday of which I’ll be meeting my very first group of girls towards my project next week Tuesday but it’ll be launched in January.”
