The Ahafo Region’s representative in the ongoing Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) says that winning the competition will give her a platform to sensitize people against child abuse.
Abena Dapaah says that “GMB is a big platform that will promote and make bigger my plans to help reduce child abuse drastically.“
According to her, the issue of child abuse can greatly be tackled when families and stakeholders are involved.
She added that there was a need to protect vulnerable children and winning the competition would give her the necessary recognition and boost to tackle this problem.
“The GMB platform is huge and stakeholders recognize it and for this reason winning it will make my project easier and more achievable.”
After weeks of excellent performances and breathtaking events, the final of this year’s competition comes off on Sunday, September 20.
