A management consultant, John Dekyem Attafuah, has been appointed as the new managing director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited. He has over 30 years experience in energy, services, information technology and pharmaceutical industries. With a practical and results oriented management style, he has built formidable track record of solid achievement in both public and private sectors. Until his appointment, he was the managing director of Access Limited, a market research company. Mr Attafuah served as the Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority from 2005 to 2009. Mr Attafuah holds a degree in computer science and statistics from the University of Ghana and a Msc in systems development from the Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
