Low key political rallies and gatherings are expected to dominate due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The political trend has slowed because the norm in Ghana has been large crowd for aspirants to address them on policies and achievements.

But not much of this trend will be seen because currently there is a ban on public gathering involving huge numbers.

Whether Covid-19 or not, voting will take place on December 7, 2020 and so political parties would embark on campaigns virtually or physically but observe the health safety protocols.

Those who cannot join the campaign virtually and physically must also know what their various candidates and aspirants are saying to enable them make informed decisions on who to vote for in the elections.

In line with these and many other reason, Media General’s Onua FM has restructured its hottest political talk show ‘Ghana Dadwene’ to bring you all the happenings at the comfort of your homes.

‘Ghana Dadwene’, as the name implies, is a political show aimed at digging into what politicians are telling the electorates and thereby giving the latter the platform to make inform decisions.

Broadcasting from Adesawe, Kanda in Accra to listeners in Greater Accra Region, Eastern Region, Central Region and parts of Volta Region, the show will now begin at 7pm to 10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

The show, even though highly political, will not be bias toward a particular political party.

The first segment of the maiden edition of the rebranded ‘Ghana Dadwene’ hits your airwaves on Onua 95.1FM with the Director of Elections for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, who would delve into how hi party is preparing for the 2020 elections amidst Covid-19.

The second segment would have the two most ‘firebrand’ politicians, Mark-Oliver Kevor, who is the former Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC and a member of the National Communications Team, and Daniel Parker Odarlai France, the Greater Accra Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Secretary.

The duo would also discuss issues such as the ongoing voter registration exercise and others of national interest.

Listeners can listen and watch the show live on Facebook: Onua 95.1 FM and also have the opportunity to join the discussions via Whatsapp on 0500-708080 and during the phone-in segment.
