Police have indicated that an alleged attack on Angel FM’s Kofi Adoma Nwanwani has been brought to their attention.
As a a result, immediate investigations have been launched.
The attack on Saturday, August 6 by unknown assailants at Old Ashongman left the popular broadcaster with injuries.
They are said to have attacked him with sharp objects and tried to set him ablaze.
“The Police are investigating alleged attacks by some unknown persons on Stephen Kofi Adomah, a staff of Angel Broadcasting Network on 6th August, 2022 at Old Ashongman Village in Accra,” a police statement on Sunday said.
“Investigation into the alleged incident commenced immediately the matter came to the attention of the Police.”
