The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for New Juaben South Constituency, Micheal Okyere Baafi, says his team is working at targeting 70,000 votes in the constituency.

He was confident the hardwork of his team would give them the results.

In the company of some party leaders and party faithfuls amidst music, Mr Okyere Baafi on Thursday morning submitted his forms to the New Juaben South Electoral Commission office.

The Returning officer of the municipality, Emmanuel Asante, received the required documents on behalf of the EC.

Micheal Okyere Baafi said he was confident about winning the seat for the NPP.

“This Constituency is a done deal, we are only looking at increasing vote margins for the NPP.”

He added that 11 targeted areas would be focused on to improve the development of the New Juaben South Constituency after the December 7 polls.

The December 7 polls would be Micheal Okyere Baafi’s first after he beat incumbent Mark Assibey Yeboah in the NPP primaries held in June.

He is currently the CEO of the Ghana Free Zone Authority.

The New Juaben South Constituency is considered a stronghold of the NPP.
