NPP Polls: Don’t disappoint hardworking and committed Ken Agyapong – George Bannerman

A Canada-based Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist, Mr George Bannerman has appealed to New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency to repay Ken Agyapong with a resounding victory in the forthcoming presidential primaries of the party.

Mr Bannerman asserted that this is the only way the party in Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency can repay the NPP presidential aspirant for the enormous contribution made to them since 2012.

Mr Bannerman, who has identical image as Ken Agyapong has relocated to Ghana and pitched camp in Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency is bent on ensuring victory for Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency in the November 4 election, considering Mr. Agyapong’s unflinching support, committment and loyalty to the party, and what he can do should he become the flagbearer.

Mr Bannerman made these comments when he engaged the media after one of his campaign tours in the constituency for Mr. Agyapong, which is dubbed ‘Hope Campaign’.

“Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong is a man of his words, very honest and disciplined who doesn’t joke with the party grassroots any day he gets the opportunity to speak for the party, and has the party at his heart most especially the the Polling Station Executives who always work tirelessly at their various Polling Stations during electioneering year to ensure victory for the party. He (Hon. Ken Agyapong) must be appreciated for his tremendous contributions to the party by voting massively for Him to do more. Never disappoint such Hardworking and Committed Patriot on the day of the elections”, he said.

Mr Bannerman, who trace his roots from Breman Essiam, in the constituency has toured almost every part of the constituency canvassing votes for ‘Showdown’ man.

Mr George Bannerman’s Hope Campaign first commenced in Essiam, his hometown where he interacted with his own people. He continued in Ba Zone from Abeadze, Kokoyanko, Asikado, Osedzi and Gyebil on the first day of his tour.

Mr Bannerman and his team stormed Essiam when they met delegates from Bekoso, Ahamakobua, Anamosi, Breman Fawomanye, Denkyendu on the second day of the Hope Campaign.

The team proceeded to Bisease Zone, Sonkwa Zone and part of Ba Zone.

The Hope Campaign team suspended their rounds when Mr George Bannerman got involved in a gory accident and needed to seek medical attention.
However, the team is hoping to wrap up the tour in Enyanmaim zone in the coming days.

The philanthropist who has stayed in Canada for 29 years added that the time has come for Ghanaians to elect a businessman as a president and Hon Kennedy Agyapong presents that golden opportunity to turn things around.

The businessman who has built two hospitals in Bortianor and Liberia Camp to take care of the refugees, expressed the strong belief in Mr. Agyapong leading Ghanaians to the promised land. He said patriotism, discipline and honesty is his trait and that’s what Ghanaians are looking for in a leader.

Mr Bannerman was accompanied by Hon Kenneth Obrempong, former District Chief Executive, Uncle Mark, Kofi Seedof, some electoral area coordinators and polling station executives who share the same his vision.
