The Member of Parliament for Mion, Musah Abdul Aziz Ayaba, has donated educational materials worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to schools in his constituency.
The donation on Monday, March 21 is aimed at aiding smooth and effective teaching and learning in Mion.
Among the materials he donated are dual desks, chairs and tables for teachers and libraries, book shelves, file drawer, cabinets and notice boards.
The MP also made a cash presentation of GH¢5,000 to the Mion Education Service Director for the repairs of their official pick-up vehicle.
The donations were handed over to the Mion District Director of Education for onward distribution to the schools.
Handing over the materials, Musah Abdul-Aziz Ayaba tasked teachers and students to be disciplined in the discharge of their duties.
This move, according to him, is part of his plans of making Mion a better place for his constituents.
