Media General gets results as MP, others supply water to Salaga SHS

On Tuesday, June 23, Media General platforms reported on the plight of final year and second year Gold Track students of Salaga Senior High School regarding lack water in the school.

Twenty-four hours after the report, the Member of Parliament, Adam Salifu Braimah, and other individuals have responded by supplying water to the school.

Adam Salifu Braimah contracted the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to supply water to the school.

The East Gonja Municipal Fire Commander, DO3 Norbert Adiali, said they will supply the water at least three times a week.

As at the time of visit, the fire tender was at the girls’ dormitory discharging water into a tank.

Headmistress of the school Habiba Grace Abosore was grateful to Media General for airing their plight, yielding the positive result.

She revealed that the school now has adequate supply of water.

She mentioned the MP, Ghana Water Company Limited and other individuals have since contacted her to supply water to the school.

She appealed for more reservoires to store the water.
