The Ghana Police Service has announced the interdiction of the bodyguard previously assigned to Member of Parliament of Madina Constituency, Francis-Xavier Sosu.

Inspector Daniel Agbavor has been cited for alleged misconduct, forming the reason for his interdiction, which takes immediate effect

He is said to have recklessly driven into a crowd after last Monday’s protest on the Ayi Mensah-Danfa Road, endangering the lives of two senior officers and other civilians.

3news.com gathers it may be just when the MP escaped arrest after having led the demonstration against bad roads in the vicinity.

The two senior officers are said to have officially reported the incident to the police administration for investigations and possible disciplinary action.

The Parliamentary Protection Unit has been tasked to assign a new guard to the first-time MP.
