The Ghana Education Service is awaiting test results of nine students of Mpraeso Senior High School after samples were taken three days ago. The test for Covid-19 became necessary after a routine temperature check. The students have been quarantined at the school’s isolation centre. The Kwahu South Education Director, Edwin Ofosu Kwarkye, explained that over 2000 students have their temperatures checked every morning before academic work begins. He indicated this is to ensure any students who had high temperature and felt unwell is managed in time. “What we did was that we have Covid-19 teams in all the schools, and health centres attached to each school to respond to emergency. “So every morning students have their temperature checked and few questions asked. “It was out of this routine that the school authorities picked out the nine for testing hence the quaratine because their temperature was high. “We are waiting for the test results which was taken three days ago to Accra.” By Yvonne Neequaye|3news.com|Eastern Region|Ghana]]>
