CETAG gives gov’t Aug. 31 ultimatum over conditions of service

The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has served notice that if government fails to grant them members’ demands concerning their “full” conditions of service and compensate them for all-year-round academic work by Wednesday, August 31, they will advise themselves.

The Association expressed disappointment that government has not handled matters to do with its members’ welfare so well.

It said government has taken a relaxed posture while tutors have been compelled to work since negotiations began in August, 2021.

In a media release on Monday, August 22, the Association made its conclusions clear:
