The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it is ready to be part of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) if the National Peace Council (NPC) is able to resolve their concerns tabled before them.

A Deputy Communications Officer of the NDC, Godwin Ako Gunn, says they wrote to the NPC on some of their concerns about the posture of the Electoral Commission (EC) but the NPC did not make any attempt to resolve them.

Mr Ako Gunn told Onua News that they are, however, willing to resume participation at IPAC if their issues are addressed.

This comes after a meeting of all the political parties in Accra on Wednesday, April 19.

The meeting was called by the Council.

Parties prevailed upon the NPC to mediate and bring back the largest opposition party to the IPAC.
