AFODAT trains int’l students on African dance & drumming

African Foundation Dance Theatre (AFODAT), a dance troupe based in Central Region capital town of Cape Coast, through Global Brigade, organised a dance and drum workshops for international volunteers.

A total number of 150 medical student volunteers signed up for the workshop.

This adds up to AFODAT’s workshop numbers to 1500 international volunteers since 2019.

Afodat has trained some universities from the United States virtually and notable among them is Connecticut University.

Speaking to the group’s business manager, Mr Ibrahim Baidoo, he thanked Global Brigade for the partnership and expressed their readiness for other partnerships in same regard.

Chief Instructor of the group Samuel Akpalu, on behalf of the instruction team, thanked all students for the feedback after they returned to their respective countries and asked for more engagement to train more students.
