Local Government Minister Mr Dan Botwe has officially released the list of of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
He did so on Sunday September 19 at a press conference in Accra.
The full list, he said, will be published on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Information.

The Okere Lawmaker told the country that the MMDCE position is an opportunity to serve the nation, hence there is no need to engage in violence when a preferred candidate has not been selected.
Ahead of the announcement, leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) asked all Ghanaians to accept the list to be announced.
For instance, Gabby Othcere Darko said this is not a do or die affair.
“The only list which matters will be put out Sunday. This is not a do or die affair. The President appoints and he does so not to deliberately disappoint anyone but to get his work done. It is that simple. Let’s live with it and make progress,” he said in a tweet on Saturday September 18.
The Director of Communications of the NPP Yaw Buaben Asamoa has also asked all Ghanaians to accept the final list of MMDCEs that will be released.
Speaking on the Key Points on TV3/3FM with host Dzifa Bampoh on Saturday September 18, the former lawmaker for Adentan could not authenticate the list circulating in a section of the Ghanaian media but only said the final list will be released by the President.
“The list will be announced by Monday,” he said, adding that “accept the final list that will be announced.”
