The Executive Director of the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers Ghana (COPEC) Duncan Amoah has said that the prices of fuel in Ghana are pointing upwards.

Some oil marketing companies have increased the prices of petroleum products as the second pricing window of August has begun.

Goil has also increased the prices of petrol and diesel to ¢13.50 and ¢13.90 per litre respectively.

Total Energies increased the price of petrol to ¢13.50 per litre from ¢12.95 per lite.e

Diesel is also going for ¢13.90 per liter from the previous price of ¢12.95 per liter.
Speaking on the Ghana Tonight show on TV3 on Wednesday, August 16, Mr Duncan Amoah said “Basically, the pricing curve is pointing upwards as we speak.

“As you would recall the start of the month of August saw an increment in which pump prices that initially were quoting 12 Cedis 45 pesewas shot up to 12 cedis 95 pesewas, a difference of some 50 pesewas.
