You didn’t invite Ghana's favourite celebs – Lil Win bleeds over no-invite from IGP

Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win

According to Lil Win, his absence at the meeting between the IGP and Ghanaian celebrities was not planned. And although he is a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, he did not receive an invitation.

Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win mentioned this during an interview at Accra FM. He pointed out that despite being a top personality in the industry, he is usually overlooked when stakeholders meet to discuss the way forward.

“Nobody told me. I did not know anything about it. Any meeting takes place in Accra concerning celebrities, they don’t invite me. But if we count stars in Ghana, you can’t take me out of the top 3.

“If we are meeting to talk about the movie industry to inform government decisions, how come the stars that Ghanaians listen to and love were not present at the meeting?”

Kumawood Lil Win also pointed out that his comical character may have been advantageous to the group and served a greater purpose. But he holds no grudge against anyone for the oversight.

“Maybe my jokes and silly talk will catch the ear of the government or the IGP, and they will listen to us. But they say Lil Win is a small boy. But when a child washes his hands well, he eats with elders.”
