The Upper East Region’s representative in the ongoing 2020 edition of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) reality show, Talata Mmabil Dobi, has promised to use the show to promote her region.
The graduate from the Koforidua Technical University says that winning the competition would bring some needed elevation to her region.
“The Upper East Region is mostly rejected and not mirrored well. Winning will help me put the region on the map. “
According to her, winning the Ghana’s Most Beautiful crown won’t only complete a dream but would also be the beginning of a larger dream to serve as an inspiration to girls in her region.
“Winning will help me encourage more girls in the region to prioritize education. My goal is to tackle teenage pregnancy and child abuse would all be promoted should I win the competition.”
The Upper East Region has won the competition once, via Poka, and Talata would be hoping to replicate the feat come Sunday in the grand-finale.
