Blessing Alovor, one of the finalists of Talented Kidz 2021, has expressed gratitude to TV3 for giving her the exposure. She hopes the platform serves as a springboard for launching her music career.
Blessing, the 13-year-old singer, was enthused about her inclusion in the final stages of Talented Kidz. She hopes to win the completion but, she doesn’t feel pressured. She said this is because she has been consistent in the completion and even won the rap challenge stage. She attributed her success in the show to mind control, confidence, energy and crowd control.
Speaking in an interview with Johnny Hughes, Blessing said the competition has been fun, educative and relatively easy for her. And even the change of environment hasn’t been a challenge.
According to Blessing, staying in the Reality house has been a learning curve with lots of entertainment. Despite being a long way from home, which is in the Western Region, she adjusted quickly to her new environment.
She said, “I study during the weekdays and use the weekends for rehearsals. I usually need only a day to learn and memorise two songs. So, writing my songs doesn’t affect my studies.”
Although her favourite artist is Simi, as an all-rounded artiste, she looks forward to collaborating with local and international artist.
Blessing promises to give her best on the final day to win the coveted prize and make her parents (Mr Godfred Alovor and Mary Aseidu) proud.
