It is the conviction of the SRC that, as the premier communications university in the country, it owes it a duty to contribute its quota towards the development of the country, especially in helping to advance the government’s ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ agenda.

A statement under the signature of the SRC General Secretary, Naa Adoley Moffatt, outlining the activities for this year’s SRC week celebration scheduled for March 11-17, indicated the week will be marked under the theme ‘Promoting Tourism Through Communication’.

“The week’s activities will serve as conduit to contribute to raising awareness among students and stakeholders in the tourism industry to use communication as a tool to promote domestic endowments of this country,” the statement indicated.

Below are the activities for the week-long celebration:

Tuesday [March 12]- What Do You Know? An inter-hall quiz on the history of Ghana.

Wednesday [March 13] – Made in Ghana

The idea is to get students to dress with a touch of Ghana and demonstrate that National sense of pride. It will be themed from 80’s, 90’s vibe and shall be climaxed on contemporary/urban style.
