Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was on Saturday, January 7 sworn in as the next president of the Republic of Ghana, taking over from John Dramani Mahama.
He was led to swear the oath of office and the oath of allegiance.
The ceremony took place at the Black Star Square in the presence of several African leaders as well as thousands of sympathisers.
