King Faisal almost got relegated last season. They needed a point on the final day against Liberty Professionals to remain in the top-flight.
But it has been a totally different story this season. After six matches, the Kumasi boys are first on the log with 13 points.
They have won four games. King Faisal defeated WAFA, followed by a shocking win against Aduana Stars in Dormaa and then beat AshantiGold in the regional derby.
Their biggest victory however came just last weekend when they beat Kotoko 3-2 in the Kumasi derby, ending the Porcupine Warriors unbeaten run and replacing them at the summit.
Owner Alhaji Grusah, in an exclusive interview with 3sports, revealed the secret behind their impressive start, King Faisal ambition for the season and applauded head coach Nurudeen Amadu.
