Maame Afia Konadu on her 65th birthday[/caption] Veteran broadcaster Henrietta Twum, known popularly as Maame Afia Konadu, has passed on. She died in the United States of America on Wednesday, May 1 while receiving treatment for a short ailment. Maame Afia Konadu retired from a long service at Peace FM in 2015. She had hosted award-winning programmes such as ‘Wo haw ne sɛn?’, ‘Mpom Te Sɛn’ and ‘Asomdwee NkomƆ’. She, however, started her professional life as a teacher before moving into broadcasting at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). reported on Thursday that owner Dr Osei Kwame Despite invited her to come and help in the running of the “baby”. She later became a known, consistent voice on Peace FM.
