Unilever Ghana has in addition to its Lifebuoy educational drive and covid-19 support, presented to institutions, communities, and organizations its products in support of nutrition and hygiene.
The Zebilla District Hospital, the Ghana Immigration Service, the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union and the 1st Infantry Battalion among others received boxes of Key Soap, Sunlight, Pepsodent, Lipton Tea and Vim.
The donation forms part of the company’s support in fighting the coronavirus pandemic which has infected close to 13,000 people in Ghana and killed 66 of them.
Head of Communications and Sustainability Lead for Unilever Ghana, Henry Herbert Malm, said the company’s priority is to support the everyday hygiene and nutrition needs of Ghanaians with its well-known brands.
The company urged all citizens to observe the deadly coronavirus protocols put in place to stem the spread of the pandemic.
