Head of Station at 3FM, Petra Aba Asamoah, in an interview after the show said the programme dubbed ‘Twitter Town Hall’ was very successful.
“The Twitter town hall was essentially a conversation online linking with the conversation we were having on air [on Sunrise]. We did that because we wanted to engage the Twitter community but most importantly, to put a lot of emphasis on the topic we will be discussing throughout the week which is corruption,” she said.
Madam Petra said: “The Twitter Town Hall was very successful. We are still continuing the conversation on Twitter and we encourage all our listeners to contribute to the discussion.”
She added that 3FM will soon have yet another Twitter Town Hall which the date, time and venue would be made known to the public soon.
3FM started the Twitter Town Hall campaign countdown to the show on Saturday with the hastag #Sunrise3FM trending on Twitter.
