TV3's 'Ghana's Most Beautiful' sweeps two awards

Ghana’s leading television station, TV3 Network Limited has been given two prestigious honours: Best Leadership Award and Best Local Content Award for its renowned reality show, Ghana’s Most Beautiful. The event which took place on the 17th of November 2016 coincided with the African Conference For Wealth Creation (ACWC) which was under the theme: “Inspiring Creation of Wealth and Building Successful Brands”. TV3 network limited over the years has graced Ghanaian screens with quality news, bearing to create, develop, produce and broadcast innovative television content and services. TV3 has established itself as a leader not only in News but television entertainment, with a line-up of a reality shows, including Mentor, Talented Kids, Celebrations, Ghana’s Most Beautiful amongst others. Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant is crafted for women (age 20-30years) of Ghanaian origin, with a vision to provide for and to empower young Ghanaian women in developing the confidence they need to achieve their personal best. The programs purposes is to promote, honour & advance the status of women, bring young women together each year to represent regional cultural richness Ghana harbours from across our ten regions. It is also to encourage involvement in community service by women, celebrate and promote African pride (culture) by inspiring each contestant to live their dreams, build self-esteem, and to strive endlessly, thereby educating and informing Ghanaians and the world at large about the beauty of Africa. The 2016 winner was Yaba from the Western region of Ghana. “It’s an honour to accept a 2016 Brand Leadership Award on behalf of the management and staff of TV3, Our hope at TV3 is that we can speed up the process of finding, 10,000 ways that will work and more quickly uncover ways to repeatedly invent and launch new but modernised ways of educating, which is a huge part of the media’s role” a statement from the company said.
