TV3 Management disclaims fraudulent transaction on social media

The Management of Media General, owners of TV3 says its attention has been drawn to fraudulent activities of some persons and organisations on WhatsApp and other social media platforms, requesting payments from the unsuspecting public in the name of “TV3 SERVICE”.

In a statement issued on September 28, 2023, the Management says this is illegal, thus must be ignored, “Media General and TV3 requests the public to note that we HAVE NOT AUTHORISZED ANY SUCH TRANSACTIONS.”

It urged clients and members of the public who receive pop-ups on their phones and devices, requesting they make any payments to call TV3 Commercial Department on 0541159715 for confirmation.
