TV3 hints of partnership with CNN

The management of TV3 has paid a working visit to the headquarters of international news giants, Cable News Network – CNN in Atlanta, Voice Of America – VOA and CHANNEL 11 all in the United States of America.

The visit forms part of the company’s strategy to bring world class programs and unparalleled news reports to its viewers in Ghana and beyond. 

Among the delegation to CNN and other media institutions in the US was the Chief Executive Officer of TV3, Augustus Dickson, the board chairman, Kojo Yankah, programs manager Frank Norteye and the managing news editor Beatrice Abbey.

The team familiarized itself with the operations of CNN and interacted with the management of the global news leaders on affiliation and training. The team also visited VOA in Washington DC and later Channel 11 also in Atlanta. Discussions centered on exchanging content. 

The evolvement of the media has seen technology taking center stage moving television from linear to digital which is the focus of the award winning TV station. TV3 your favorite channel hopes to bring viewers cutting edge programs and comprehensive and balanced news stories as we expand coverage.
