The Volta region is now NDC's microfinance company – Praye

Hiplife music group Praye has dismissed assertions that the Volta region is still the stronghold of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Akojo Park in Tema on Sunday 30th October 2016, a member of the group Praye Tietia who is a Voltarian himself declared that the NDC’s status in the Volta region has now been reduced to a microfinance company.
“We (Praye) are just coming from the southern part of the Volta region and we know what is going on there. We spent one week and I can tell you for sure that their World Bank is now a microfinance company. I am a Voltarian and I know what I am talking about.”
The occasion over the weekend was the launch of the NPP Greater Accra regional campaign in Tema Community 1.
In another development, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Tema East constituency, Titus Glover says he is confident of defeating his main contender in the 2016 elections Kempis Ofosu Ware.
Though won by just three votes in the 2012, he assured the crowd that the vote difference between himself and his NDC contender will not be less than 3000 votes.
