Outgoing Member of Parliament for Talensi Constituency, Robert Nachinab Doaneng Mosore, has formally bidden Parliament farewell after being enskinned Paramount Chief of Tongo in the Upper East Region.
Mr Mosore formally notified Parliament last week of his enskinment after he was made successor to the late Tongo-Raana Sapaalug-Namalteng Boara Yenga Kolbil in April.
His seat has thus been declared vacant with the Electoral Commission having set Tuesday, July 7 as date for a by-election.
Members of Parliament paid glowing tribute to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP.
