Story of a corrupt minister captured in ‘Bigman Wahala’ film

A corrupt cabinet minister on the run from justice from soldiers in the aftermath of a coup d’état seeks the help of a poor, struggling taxi driver to make his escape in a yet-to-be released film – Bigman Wahala. The conversations and experiences between the two as well as the final fallout of the journey, make this a story not to miss. Principal photography of the feature film that is filled with intriguing action drama concluded last week and it is set to hit the screens mid next year. Filming was carried out at various locations in the Winneba area and Accra. “It has been an incredibly hectic and rewarding time for many on this shoot, both professionally and personally” the writer and director, Daniel Adjokatcher said on the final day of the shoot. He added: “I would like to thank our various partners, especially the Ghana Armed Forces and the University of Education, Winneba without whom this shoot would have been impossible”. Oscar Provencal [Inspector Bediako], who plays the role of the corrupt cabinet mnister in the film, observed “It has been a great experience. “I think this movie is going to be one of a kind when it comes out, because it speaks to corruption, class and human relationships.
