Stories of Ghanaians must be told to the world – Glitz Africa Mag founder Claudia Lumor

Ghanaian Publisher and founder of Glitz Africa Magazine and the Glitz Style Awards, Claudia Lumor, has said she finds it exciting grooming young talents as well as celebrating achievements and success stories of Ghanaians in their various fields of work.

The Executive Producer of Glitz Africa Fashion Week Ghana said she desires to project the Ghanaian story in a tasteful manner to the entire world.

Speaking on Today’s Woman on TV3 Sunday, October 18, Mrs Lumor noted that there are a lot of positive stories about Ghanaians across the world that are not being told.

“All I wanted to to do was to tell great stories of African people especially Ghanaians,” she told host of the programme Michelle Attoh

“I always wanted to project our country and the people in a very tasteful way. So that has always been the drive.

“How do we project our country and the celebrate the great people to encourage others?” she wondered.

It is against this background that she established the Glitz Africa Magazine and the Glitz Style Awards 10 years ago.

Her outfit recently awarded some exceptional Ghanaian women for their hardwork in the year 2020.

The Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Media General, parent company of TV3, Onua TV, 3FM, Onua FM, Connect FM, Akoma FM and, Beatrice Agyemang, received the award for Excellence in Media.
