Former Premier League star Michael Owen has told Harry Kane to consider other options than joining Bayern Munich to win trophies.
The 30-year-old is keen on sealing a move to the German giants with an agreement between Tottenham Hotspurs and Bayern close to being struck.
The Athletic reports that sources in Germany have said Tottenham have accepted a deal from the Bundesliga club, rumored to be worth over €100 million (£86.4 million, $110 million) stating that the offer had been accepted by the Premier League team.
Kane is responsible for taking the following action and must now decide whether to join Bayern Munich or not. Prior to Sunday’s season-opening match between Tottenham and Brentford, the 30-year-old had stated a desire to decide his future.
However, Owen who won the Ballon d’Or in 2001 thinks Kane might be making a wrong choice by joining the Bavarians.
Despite Kane’s remarkable, goalscoring abilities, he is yet to win a major trophy in his career which is believed to be the main factor for his willingness to move elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Owen is advising his compatriot to rather stay in the Premier League and try and become the all-time top scorer of the competition or join Real Madrid.

Kane scored 30 goals in the Premier League last season for Spurs, who finished outside the top four increasing his overall tally to 213 goals, just 47 less than Alan Shearer who holds the record as the all-time top scorer of the renowned competition.
