[Video] Normalisation Committee member trades insults with journalist

There was a heated exchange on Wednesday during a meeting between the Normalization Committee and journalists in Accra. It was the first official meeting since the membership of the Committee was unveiled by the Confederation of African Football (Caf) and FIFA. Though the meeting started with the President, Dr Kofi Amoah, and two other members, Lucy Quist and Naa Odofoley Nortey, the fourth member, Dua Adonten, joined in late. The Spokesperson of the Committee, Daniel Kweku Yeboah, asked journalists to clap for him, giving a reason of his legal practice for his late arrival. But the gesture seemed not to have gone down well with freelance journalist Ekow Asmah, who questioned the move called for by Mr Yeboah. This resulted in an exchange between lawyer Dua Adonten and Mr Asmah but the two later patched up with apologies rendered.
