Barcelona struggled to break down 10-man Osasuna until substitute Victor Roque entered the game and scored the winning goal within a minute of his introduction.

Despite dominating possession, Barcelona found it difficult to create clear scoring chances in the first half, with their best opportunity coming from a Jules Kounde header that sailed over the bar.

In the second half, Barcelona continued to struggle to create meaningful chances, leading Xavi to substitute Fermin Lopez with Victor Roque.

Roque made an immediate impact, heading home a Joao Cancelo cross to give Barcelona the lead—his first goal since joining the club in January from Brazilian side Athletico Paranaense.

Just moments later, Roque was involved in a play that resulted in an Osasuna player being sent off, giving Barcelona a numerical advantage.

Despite the setback, Osasuna still had chances to equalise, with Ruben Garcia missing a golden opportunity late in the game.

Barcelona kept control of the ball in the final minutes to secure the 1-0 victory, with Roque’s goal proving to be the difference maker.

It was the first game after Xavi had announced he would leave the club at the end of the season amid pressure for inconsistent results in La Liga as Barcelona are far away from the summit.
