United new boy, Donny Van De Beek has extended heartfelt messages of gratitude to his old club Ajax after he put pen to paper to join the club in Greater Manchester.
Van De Beek is Manchester United’s first summer signing in a transfer market that had casted uncertainties over whether United will sign or not.
The new boy posted on his twitter feed that he is very pleased to have join the club and cannot wait to begin.
“Very excited to be the newest edition of the #MUFC family. Your enthusiastic responses to my announcement make me feel at home already! Can’t wait to join the team in Manchester. But first… focus on the Dutch Squad in preparation for the upcoming Nations League matches” he said.
Van de Beek will have the number 34 on his back in honour of his close friend, Abdelhak Nouri.
