Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac met Moldova-based midfielder Edmund Addo in Milan on Tuesday night.
Rajevac was in attendance when Inter played FC Sheriff in the Champions League, and after the game, he interacted with Addo.
Addo lasted 75 minutes as Sheriff suffered a 3-1 loss at San Siro Stadium.
According to reports, Addo was called up for the double-header against Zimbabwe in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers early this month, but Sheriff prevented him from joining the Black Stars because GFA notified them late.
Addo has been in great form this season, helping Sheriff make a wonderful start on their Champions League debut. After beating Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donestk, Sheriff stunned Real Madrid 2-1 at Bernabeu.
Tuesday’s defeat was their first in the competition.
They still occupy the top spot in Group D.
