Tottenham Hotspur have rejected the latest bid from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane implying a possible end to negotiations between the two clubs.

The 30-year-old striker is keen on a move to the Bavarians having refused to extend his contract with 12 months left to its expiration.

The German giants had willed to smash their own transfer recorded by offering a fee of more than €100m compared to the €80m paid to Atletico Madrid for defender Lucas Hernandez to secure the England forward.

Despite threatening to walk away from the deal if Spurs rejected it, the London-based club were not perturbed as they still believe there is a huge gap in the valuation of the lethal striker.

With his incredible goalscoring exploits, Kane is expected to continue with Tottenham Hotspurs should Bayern Munich stick to their words despite a few more weeks to the end of the transfer window.

The striker who has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs is yet to win a silverware which is believed to be the main motive for his proposed move away from the English side.

On August 13, Tottenham will play their first Premier League game against Brentford. Bayern on the other hand begin their campaign a day earlier in their German Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.
