Berekum Chelsea, Dreams FC, and Nsoatreman FC emerged victorious in their respective encounters on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.

In a notable upset, Berekum Chelsea inflicted a 1-0 defeat on reigning champions Medeama SC in Tarkwa. Despite Medeama’s unbeaten home record this season, Stephen Amankona’s 21st-minute goal proved decisive, breaking the home team’s invincibility.

Medeama SC tried to mount a comeback, but Berekum Chelsea’s resolute defence held firm, securing their second away win of the season.

At the Theatre of Dreams, Dreams FC secured a 2-0 victory over Accra Great Olympics. Ishmael Dede converted a penalty in the 48th minute, and two minutes later, Eric Danso capitalised on Dede’s cross to score the second goal. The win marked Dreams FC’s second successive victory.

Nsoatreman FC returned to winning ways with a 2-0 triumph over Real Tamale United. After suffering back-to-back defeats, Mohammed Abdul Rahaman scored in the 23rd minute, and Abdul Manaf Umar doubled the lead in the dying moments of the game.

Elsewhere, Bechem United and Bofoakwa Tano played to a 1-1 draw, with Augustine Okrah opening the scoring in the 8th minute, quickly answered by Steven Owusu’s equalizer two minutes later.

In another match, Razak Simpson’s 75th-minute goal secured a 1-0 victory for Nations FC over Kpando Heart of Lions at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Accra Hearts of Oak recorded yet another home draw on Sunday, sharing the spoils with Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium. The match ended without a breakthrough, leaving both teams with a point each.
