Hearts of Oak assistant coach David Ocloo has expressed confidence in his team’s strikers despite their struggles in front of goal this season.

While Hearts have only received seven of their 22 league goals from their forwards, centre-back Caleb Amankwah and midfielder Benjamin Yorke have scored the most goals for the Phobians with four goals apiece.

According to Ocloo, the positioning of his forward players is a crucial factor in the team’s overall performance, and he believes that they are contributing to the team in other important ways.

“I’m not troubled because you can see that these days the strikers are moving well. Even though they are not getting the goals during open play, they are getting the set pieces which is good.”

Hearts will play their next match in a trip to Karela United on Saturday with the hope of maintaining their form to keep the title in sight.

They are fourth on the log with just four points behind leaders Aduana Stars who have an outstanding match to play on Monday.
