Great Olympics coach says club on course to survive relegation

Great Olympics coach Bismark Kobby Mensah is confident in the club’s survival despite their poor run of results in the Ghana Premier League.

Kobby Mensah who was appointed to replace Yaw Preko has equally struggled to restore the fortunes of Oly Dade, winning just two in his first seven games in charge including a crucial victory over Hearts of Oak.

The former Karela United boss is however confident his team will overcome the relegation battle and end the season in a better position.

“It has not been very bad and it has not been good. I think that I have a challenge in my hand and I believe that looking at the response from players, everybody is trying his best.

“If all of us can play our parts well, I think[we will succeed]. The first objective is to make sure that the team is still in the premiership which for me we are on course,” Kobby Mensah told 3Sports on GPL Express.

Due to their recent victory over Berekum Chelsea, Great Olympics are slightly above the relegation zone lying 15th on the table.

They have accumulated 31 points after winning eight matches in 25 games. They will lock horns with Aduana Stars on April 15.
