Ghana’s Strongest: Four qualify for final showdown

L-R: Godfred Akobila, Bright Appiah [SWAT], Ebenezer Amos [Chilling] and Prosper Dakora

Four athletes have advanced to the final of this season’s Ghana’s Strongest competition after weeks of lifting heavy weights, sweating it out, and attempting to knock each other off.

Prosper Dakora finished second last season.

Prosper Dakora, Godfred Akobila, Bright Appiah [SWAT], and Ebenezer Amos [Chilling] have made it to the grand finale and will compete for the ultimate prize.

Bright Appiah [SWAT] was fourth last season.

Abass Salu was eliminated in the semi-finals after an injury prevented him from completing all of the challenges. “It’s just a game; you never know what will happen. I’ll be stronger next year,” he promised.

Ebenezer Amos of the Western region makes his first appearance in the finals after narrowly missing out last season.

Ardent followers of the show predict a very competitive contest between Prosper Dakora and Godfred Akobila in the final event. The pair have had their fair share of experience appearing in the finals of Ghana’s Strongest more than twice.

In addition to the bragging rights, at stake for the Champion is a whooping cash amount, brand new car and souvenirs from sponsors.
