Former Asante Kotoko winger Robert Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Electric, has tragically passed away in London at the age of 49.

The unfortunate incident occurred when the former Ghana international suffered a cardiac arrest while driving to work in the early hours of Monday, as reported by GHANASoccernet.

Ebo Electric is fondly remembered for his notable goal in the final of the 1990 FA Cup against Hearts of Oak.

His career began at Asante Kotoko, and he later moved to Belgium to play for Turnhout, Tielen, and Lommel in the early nineties.

The winger also spent time in the Turkish Super Lig with Gaziantep before continuing his football journey with Sarawak in Malaysia.
