Young Apostles disown Anim Addo’s referee allegations

Young Apostles FC have issued a statement separating themselves from comments made by club president Samuel Anim Addo, who accused referee Maxwell Hanson of wrongdoing in a recent social media post.

The club expressed their displeasure with the remarks, noting that the opinions shared by Anim Addo were personal and did not reflect the views or principles of Young Apostles FC.

In a statement, the club emphasised its dedication to professionalism and fair play: “We disassociate ourselves from the comments made by Mr. Samuel Anim Addo. As an organization, we are committed to fostering positive relationships with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and all stakeholders.”

Young Apostles reaffirmed their commitment to upholding sportsmanship and mutual respect, stressing the importance of constructive engagement within the football community.

Anim Addo’s remarks have drawn the attention of the GFA, which has since charged him with misconduct for bringing the league into disrepute.
