In a concerted effort to elevate women’s football in Ghana, the management committee members of the U-20 women’s national team, alongside former Kotoko board member Evelyn Nsiah Asare, engaged in a series of activities aimed at promoting and empowering female players.
The initiative commenced with a discussion forum on women’s football at the Anglican Senior High School, where the team shared insights into the importance of fostering women’s football and their commitment as a federation.
Following the discussion, the delegation, including Evelyn Nsiah Asare and Gifty Oware, visited the Black Princesses, the U-20 women’s national team providing words of encouragement and support.
In their unwavering commitment to champion women’s football, the committee and Evelyn Nsiah Asare extended their efforts to a media tour on Saturday. During the tour, they delved into discussions about the women’s football strategy, emphasising the opportunities awaiting women footballers at the grassroots level.
This proactive campaign is part of the committee’s broader mission to elevate women’s football in Ghana. The focus on providing opportunities for women at the grassroots level reflects a growing commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a thriving environment for women’s football in the country.
