Ange Postecoglou has declared that Tottenham Hotspur are fully prepared to secure a home victory against Manchester City in Tuesday’s eagerly awaited Premier League showdown.
With Champions League qualification hopes revived following Aston Villa’s dramatic draw with Liverpool on Monday night, Spurs are primed to take on Manchester City, who are eyeing a fourth consecutive league title.
Addressing the press ahead of the match, Postecoglou conveyed his determination to emerge victorious, emphasising the anticipated energy from Spurs fans that will fuel the team’s performance and create an atmosphere conducive to success.
“To me, we’ve got a game that we want to win”
“The majority of our fans want to see us win and our fans will create the atmosphere they do in home games and I said irrespective of what happens we’ve got a game of football to play and that’s what we wanna do,” he said.
Tottenham lie in fifth place on the league table, five points behind Villa, but that gap could be decreased to two if they grab the unexpected win.
